We would like to express our deepest appreciation to our patient readers, who have followed Duncan and Methos and Kir and Sean and Connor through all their travails over the past year and a half. Also, thanks go to Rache and elynross for their invaluable input and commentary. And we would like to again thank the great and mighty Eng for allowing us to use the wonderful concept of Sean from her Chaos Chronicles and for her wonderful art. Obviously, we have taken Sean in a different direction, and she is most gracious about our wanderings down other paths.

Finally, we would like to encourage other authors to join us in the Immortal Nations universe, bringing their own creative view to these events and characters. We would be privileged to post them here as part of the anticipated compilation of tales, and we would welcome any and all ideas about this future world where the Game has been forever altered and the Quickening has become a shared event.

And you might expect to shortly begin to see a sequel to "Divided Souls" entitled "Penance". It shouldn't be too difficult to guess what that is about, but that upcoming tale is not intended in any way to limit anyone else's interpretation of what is possible for any member of this fascinating extended family.
